CNC MACHINING

OUR CNC CAPABILITIES ARE OUR CALLING CARD

Throughout the decades, Plant Machine Works has kept pace with the evolution of industrial technology by continually investing in new CNC machinery. Invariably, every dollar spent keeping us on the cutting edge of machining has paid off many times over through improved efficiency, greater CNC capabilities, and increased capacity.

Manufacturing of all kinds has become more involved as sophisticated technologies have been integrated into the production of almost everything. At PMW, we are continually incorporating new technologies into our workflow. Most recently, we added a 5-Axis Mazak Integrex Machining Center to our lineup to serve the wide-ranging needs of a customer base that continues to grow more diverse.

Our primary objective is always to satisfy our customers’ needs in a timely manner while providing the highest degree of service and quality, and always at a competitive price. Whether it be precision machining, fabrication, or large-capacity machining, we have the equipment to satisfy almost any industrial need.

ANY SIZE PART, ANY SIZE RUN, ANY HOUR OF THE DAY OR NIGHT

Plant Machine Works has acquired a notable reputation throughout the region as the go-to shop for rotating machine parts repair and manufacture; even when oversized components are involved, a quick turnaround is needed, or both. PMW can handle parts and components of nearly any size. Our 62,000-square-foot machine shop regularly handles components weighing tens of thousands of pounds for industries ranging from petrochemical to oil and gas, paper mills, and more. And with 24/7 availability, we can help you meet those urgent deadlines.

FIVE-AXIS MACHINING MEANS FINESSE AT ANY SCALE

Having one of the only large-format 5-Axis machining centers in the region, Plant Machine Works can perform complex, close-tolerance milling and turning operations on intricate parts as small as a coffee cup to as large as a compact car. The 5-axis advantage permits extremely precise, complicated moves, allowing the cutting tool to engage the workpiece from nearly any direction. This means what would typically take numerous setups on a typical CNC machine can be accomplished in a single pass.

Of course, just having the equipment isn’t enough to get the job done correctly. PMW’s CNC machinists and programmers have the additional training, skill, and expertise it takes to deliver your parts with superior quality, faster turnaround, and improved economy from 5-Axis machining at its very best.
